Who hates mandatory meetings?

Stanley's Note:

Are Meetings a waste of time?

Some would say yes.

Some would argue they are essential.

For us at The Attention Seeker we have decided this year that a solid meeting rhythm would be essential to our success.

These meetings have solid rules and time frames to stick to with specific measurable and repeatable tasks/agendas.

And Monday just gone we had our first Quarterly meeting, the theme being sales.

Our discussions centered around how we can scale the sales process and grow the business exponentially.

Up until now I have been responsible for 99% of the sales in the business which is to be expected as the founder.

And for our core business of Personal Branding and Managed Content Services I will stay the main bread winner.

But with our new studio we have the ability to do much more project work and one-off gigs.

Like team photoshoots, headshots, video production, eLearning modules, course video creation, music videos, ad creative and much more.

With a dedicated inhouse creative team it gives us much more flexibility and capability.

So, the team have fixed products and services they can help sell.

How do they do this?

Well, some want to join networking groups, some have family and friends in business, others are just developing trigger words that when they hear people speak, they can start a conversation about our services.

All in all the day was a success, well for me anyway, and with our regular meeting rhythm this year we will keep track of these initiatives to ensure they are implemented and constantly improved.

What are your meetings like?

Worth it or a waste of time?

Is your client ready to sign on the dotted line?

Are you ready to let them?

Contracting is an essential part of business. People often don't realise how important it is to get the process right.

It's easy to jump the gun and sign a client on, but there are many steps that shouldn't be missed. Working with a client can be demanding, so you have to make sure you are all on the same page to move forward.

"It will get better" - the theme of the vlog this week.

Being able to have clients come to our own studio, use our gear and having more team members has changed the way we operate for the better.

It's allowed us to have more time to be creative and produce higher-quality work. Too bad you won't see that quality work until Sian gets her sh*t together and remembers to film the vlog!

Still wondering what we do?

We make you go viral. So everyone knows who you are.
Don't ask how. It's magic.
You'll find out once you speak to us.
Just get in touch.
